Prophecy happening now

Matthew 24:1-14, 32-34, Mark 13:1-13, 28-31 , Luke 21:1-19, 29-33

32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

This prophecy of Jesus is being fulfilled before our eyes and few are seeing it. The fig tree we may conclude  is Israel,  simply because the symbolism fits. It began re-assembling in May 1948. The land which lay barren for almost 2000 years is flourishing with fertility. The fig tree has sprouted tender branches. It has put forth leaves. Jews are recognizing in accelerating numbers that Jesus is their Messiah. They are coming back to claim their rights in their Messiah. It would seem the times of the gentiles is drawing to a close. One third of the world’s gentiles know salvation in Jesus but approximately two out of three gentiles have chosen to ignore the precious gift Jesus offers and the doors are starting to close.

In Australia we are constantly reminded of the great wrong of destroying Aboriginal culture, but nobody seems to notice widespread cultural destruction being perpetrated under the name of political correctness.  Christian culture of gentiles is being dismantled by the excuse of political correctness.

In the Old Testament all the important time periods were in sevens – seven days, seven years, seventy years, etc. We are coming to the close of the seventy years since the creation of Israel. Seventy years is the life time notionally allotted to man. It is also a symbolic reconciliation period for the nation of Israel. The generation born in 1948 will notionally pass away in 2018 and literally pass away around 2048.

Relating the warning of the fig tree with the developments of Israel and the words of Jesus “This generation shall not pass away, till all these things be fulfilled” , what do we get?

The warning is to be ready for end times.

A Reconciliation period suggests the doors are wide open for Israel's awakening. Do not be surprised if 2018 will be a turning point in history and the transition to Israel’s rights in Jesus?

"All these things be fulfilled" points to those events laid out in Matthew 24:1-14 for example. The intervening section Matthew 24:15-31 almost certainly relates to a warning about the coming Roman war and siege of Jerusalem (AD66-70). The list includes the gospel preached to all nations (We have seen that), Nations shall rise against nations and kingdoms against kingdoms (We have seen that) earthquakes, famines and pestilences (We have seen that), a falling away from Christianity (We see that in most developed countries) , the rise of false christs (We have seen a few but be warned a far more convincing false christ is coming).
